Royal guardsmen who employ gunblades in combat, swords with a firing mechanism, emitting a range of magical effects by utilizing aetherically imbued cartridges.

Overview

Gunbreaker is a high-tempo tank job that focuses on busy burst windows and hard-hitting combo actions that emulate a DPS rotation. They build up cartridges using weaponskills and abilities, spending them on a flurry of attacks that flow almost like a true DPS. Defensively, Gunbreaker is a jack of all trades, boasting the standard suite of tank defensives and can adapt to any situation to assist the party with mitigation and single-target healing over time.

Superbolide

Superbolide is the Gunbreaker's invulnerability skill, dragging their HP down to 1 while ensuring they do not take damage for 10 seconds. While it comes with the self-harming drawback, it is potent and is available every 6 minutes.

Heart of Corundum

Heart of Corundum is a defensive ability that targets either the Gunbreaker or an ally, reducing damage taken by 15% for 8 seconds with an extra 15% for 4 seconds granted by Clarity of Corundum. In addition, if a party member is the target, they are granted the benefit of the Gunbreaker's Brutal Shell shield if it's active. Lastly, it restores HP to the target should they fall below 50% from Catharsis of Corundum or if the effect expires first.

Gnashing Fang

Gnashing Fang is the first hit of the Gunbreaker's Continuation combo. Consuming cartridges, Gnashing Fang grants Ready to Rip, which allows the Gunbreaker to execute Jugular Rip. Jugular Rip is followed by Savage Claw, granting Ready to Tear. Ready to Tear allows for Abdomen Tear, followed by Wicked Talon. As Wicked Talon grants, Ready to Gouge, the Gunbreaker finishes their burst phase with Eye Gouge.
