Brilliant tacticians who can turn mundane armies into conquerers. They command the tide of battle with magical codicies and a fairie familiar.
Scholar is a barrier healer that utilize both their own actions and that of their faerie familiar. They have access to a wide range of mitigation abilities on top of pure heals. With access to some of the strongest shields in the game and passive healing from their faerie, Scholars can contribute a high amount of party damage for a healer. Their proactive toolkit prevents damage before it even happens.
Eos and Selene are the faerie familiars that are at the core of a Scholar's tools. They automatically cast Embrace, a healing spell, on party members and the Scholar is able to command them to cast spells like Whispering Dawn, a regeneration spell, or Fey Illumination, a damage mitigation spell, on the party.
Adloquium is a Scholar's main global healing spell. While it provides a modest heal, it also grants Galvanize, a shield that equals 180% of the amount of health restored. When the Scholar lands a critical heal, their target is also granted Catalyze, an extra 180% shield.
Summon Seraph is an ability that temporary replaces Eos or Selene with a more powerful familiar, Seraph. Seraph automatically casts Seraphic Veil, an upgraded form of Embrace that additionally grants a shield. Additonal commands become available when Seraph is present, such as the powerful party heal and shield spell Consolation.
