Overview

Blue Mage is a Limited Job, meaning that it functions independently from other jobs and has a maximum level of 70. Blue Mages are usually only found in pre-made parties and often can only participate in single-player content. Rather than gaining new actions by increasing in level, Blue Mages learn spells from enemies. By defeating certain enemies, Blue Mages can learn a wide variety of powerful spells that they can select from their Blue Mage spellbook. Some Blue Mage setups can trivialize content, and Blue Mages may participate in the Masked Carnivale, giving them an opportunity to test their skills against a range of opponents.
