Poker 3 Review

The Poker 3, or Pok3r is one of the best keyboards I've ever owned. At a glance it features…

  • A 60% Layout. It sacrifices arrow keys, function keys, and a numberpad for a more managable form factor. Overall it has a total of 61 keys
  • It features an aluminium casing and white PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) keycaps
  • The board has Cherry MX Clear switches, with an actuation force of 55cN.
  • Programmable layers allowing you to use function keys and arrow keys, which are not present on the board as well as program your own custom functions. Each key, when programmed, is capable of executing over 32 actions
  • A removeable USB Mini cable.
Overall I believe that this keyboard has been one of the best keyboards I've ever owned. The layout is very comfortable and easy to adapt to, the keystrokes are comfortable and very satisfying. The board is mulitpurpose and is useful for typing as well as my preferred use of it, playing videogames. I am a huge fan of the PBT keycaps. The textured feel is extremely pleasant. The only real gripe I have with this board, or to more specific, the formfactor is its lack of arrow keys. While again, this is to be expected, I can't help but miss them.

All in all I give it 7/10.
