Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in the town of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Scott and Andrea Swift and has one little brother named Austin. At the early age of ten, Swift began to write songs and she sang in karaoke contests as well as festivals and talent competition in her home town.

In 2006, she released her debut single, "Tim McGraw" who she recalls is one of her musical influences. Late 2006 she released her debut self-titled album which produced five top singles on Billboards Hot County Songs chart.

Swift's latest album, Fearless, was released on November 11, 2008 and it debuted at number one of Billboard 200 Album Chart. Due to her new album, Swift announced that she was starting her first tour, Fearless, and she would be going to 38 states over the span of six months.

The tour kicked of on April 23 in Evansville, Indiana and would be continuing through October 2009. Tickets for several venues went on sale, and in a matter of two minutes, sold out completely.

Since 2006, Taylor Swift has won several awards including the CMA Horizon Award.
