The Toronto Maple Leafs are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. They have played at the Air Canada Centre since 1999, after 68 years at Maple Leaf Gardens. The Leafs are well known for their long and bitter rivalry with the Montreal Canadians, and more recent rivalry with the Buffalo Sabers and the Ottawa Senators. The franchise has won thirteen Stanley Cup championships, eleven as the Leafs, one as the Toronto St. Patrick’s, and one as the Toronto Arenas.
