John Lennon married Yoko Ono on March 20, 2009. He started his solo career with an album that he had recorded prior to the break-up of The Beatles. John and Yoko recorded many albums/solo hits that involved them calling for war to be over. One of his most famous songs is "Give Peace a Chance". Lennon then released two albums: "Imagine" and "Mind Games". His last ever stage performance was on April 18, 1975, performing "Imagine" on a special called A Salute to Lew Grade. Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman on the night of December 8, 1980.
