John Lennon

After The Beatles broke up as a band, John Lennon was still immensely popular in the world of music. He started a semi-solo career (he also worked with Yoko Ono) and recorded albums that were based around peace. They were released as follows:

  • John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band (1970)
  • Imagine (1971)
  • Sometime in New York City (1972)
  • Mind Games (1973)
  • Walls and Bridges (1974)
  • Rock 'n' Roll (1975)
  • Double Fantasy (1980)
  • Milk and Honey (1984)

The Beatles

The Beatles came out with 13 albums before they broke up as a band. They were regarded as one of the greatest bands ever and people flocked around stores to buy their newly released records. The records were released as follows:

  • Please Please Me (1963)
  • With The Beatles (1963)
  • A Hard Day's Night (1964)
  • Beatles For Sale (1964)
  • Help! (1965)
  • Rubber Soul (1965)
  • Revolver (1966)
  • Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967)
  • Magical Myster Tour (1967)
  • The Beatles White Album (1968)
  • Yellow Submarine (1969)
  • Abbey Road (1969)
  • Let It Be (1970)

*Fun Fact: Let It Be was recorded before Abbey Road but it was released later because the Beatles wanted to end with what they thought was the better album*
